The Mental Health Policy Research Unit (PRU), co-led by Professor Alan Simpson (past MHNAUK Chair), has this week launched a survey investigating the impact of the COVID-19 crisis within mental health services. Introducing the survey, the PRU team write how:
The aim of the survey is to better understand how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting mental health services and the people who may use them. To make our work practically useful, we are especially interested in what is being done to manage these impacts, both in the NHS and the voluntary sector, and in what is working well and what less well.
The team leading this important study aims to make its findings known as quickly as possible to UK policymakers, and mental health nurses and their colleagues working in mental health care in any sector or specialty are warmly invited to take part by following this link.
